MULCH FILM
Mulch Film covers the soil to modify soil temperature, prevent moisture growth, limit weed growth and improve crop yield. In addition, the mulching protects the crop from touching the soil directly and gives higher yields and earlier crops.
The grower can choose different colours of films to positively affect the crop outcome, accomplish different objectives depending upon particular needs.
FEATURES
It is completely impermeable to water. It prevents the evaporation of water from the soil and the rise of water containing salts.
It can reduce the loss of plant nutrients through leaching.
Provides artificial barrier to soil pathogens.
Avoid large fluctuations in soil temperature between day and night.
Helps plant roots multiply and develop laterally.
TRANSPARENT FILM
Transparent film is mainly used on outdoor crops as a solarization aid. Light passes directly through the film and the soil is greatly heated below killing weed spores and bacteria living in the bed. It defends crops and soil from atmospheric agents and the movement of fertilizing elements.
BLACK FILM
Black films absorb and block radiation to suppress weed germination. As they absorb radiation, they warm up and heat the soil.
WHITE FILM
White film reflects light and provides for a significantly cooler bed than almost any other colour. It does not block enough light to inhibit weed growth. It is best used in climates that are exceedingly hot.
BLACK /WHITE or BLACK/SILVER FILM
Multi-layer co-extruded film provides the combined benefits of black film and white or silver film all in one product. The silver or white colour reflects radiation to prevent the overheating of seedlings, plants and fruit, enhances photosynthesis and repels pests. The black colour prevents the penetration of light and reduces the germination of weeds.
BIODREGRADABLE FILM
Biodregradable film manufactured with vegetable resins that will be Bio-degraded by the action of atmospheric factors, by the contact with the crop and the ground, until they disappear without leaving any harmful element.
Biodegradable film composts in the soil into water, carbon dioxide and biomass, not only eliminates plastic waste, but also reduces labor time and costs, providing a cost-competitive environmentally friendly solution.
BROWN FILM
Using brown film, radiation transference in the NIR range and radiation blocking in the PAR range, which contributes to the heating of the soil and reduces weed germination. These films are especially suitable for crops that grow in autumn, winter and early spring and in areas prone to weed growth.
